A space to keep track of my creative side quests...
making things that tickle my fancy.
No patterns. No plan. Just winging it!

No doilies here (although I do love a good granny-square moment! 😄)… and just between you and me, I can’t actually read a crochet pattern. I taught myself to crochet a couple of years ago by watching YouTube videos. As a leftie, that meant reversing all the instructions in my head, so somewhere along the way I just started making it up as I went. I love creating things that amuse me, which generally means they’re colourful, quirky and usually a little oversized (which I’d like to think adds to their charm!) I don’t write patterns, and every creation is completely one of a kind. Most of my pieces are stitched using a kaleidoscope of beautifully textured second-hand, recycled and upcycled wools—I’m not sure where I’m going, but you’re more than welcome to come along for the ride
