✈️ This is a good one to keep up your sleeve for those last few muddly weeks of the year! (You know, those weeks where you’re trying to pack & clean your room; get a random report printed & signed because a child has announced that tomorrow’s their last day; the weeks where the kids are OVER the Christmas activities but still need an engaging task; and your timetable consists entirely of going from one prize giving practise & assembly to another!!)
➡️ This is a fun way to briefly review the year that’s been and look forward to some new challenges. The planes make a beautiful 3D wall display (also look great hanging) or alternatively, take them straight home to share with whānau (because let’s be honest, no one’s putting up a wall display at this time of year!)

➡️ I recommend keeping your completed paper planes pristine by making a couple of blank planes for launching (because you just know someone will get theirs stuck up a tree or on the roof 😅)
✈️ As well as flying them for distance, some fun paper plane launching ideas include:
✈️ Having a hoop target – who can fly their plane through the hoop?
✈️ Have a plane relay – you fly your plane to a team mate, who can then launch theirs to the next person etc
✈️ Launch your plane off the top of the playground
✈️ Try and catch a friends plane in your hat
✈️ Add paper clips to different parts of your planes to adjust the weight
✈️ Use a timer to see who can keep their plane in the air for the longest
Wishing you all a smooth, calm end to the year 💗✨️
