Description
Our Classroom Cultures is a gentle, inclusive display resource designed to help every child feel seen and valued.
With culture cards, connection/conversation/reflection labels, and flexible display ideas, this set invites children to share (or simply notice) the places, people, and stories that matter to them. Add a world map and some string and this display can grow over time — just like your classroom community.

THIS RESOURCES CONTAINS:
- CULTURE CARDS: This set includes 40 cultures commonly represented in Aotearoa New Zealand classrooms, including Māori, Pacific, Asian, European, Middle Eastern, African, and American communities.
- Each country/culture is respresented with 6 cards (6 per A4 page) which includes the countries name, flag, common greeting and then 4 images representing things special to the a country (food, architecture, objects, animals etc) Blank cards are included so all children and whānau can be represented.
- CONNECTION/CONVERSATION CARDS: 20+ prompt cards to add to your display or use a spring board for further conversation and reflection (My culture is important to me because….My family has a connection to…. My family connects to more than one place…. He wāhi nui tēnei ki ahau (This place is important to me) etc.
