This classroom Kākahu (cloak) collaborative poster comes in 3 different versions: ***THIS IS THE ‘PLAIN FEATHER’ VERSION***, great if you were wanting to include some text such as children’s names/keywords on the feathers, or have the children create their own individual patterns before colouring.

• This set contains 32 pieces (hopefully no one has a class size larger than that!) In every collaborative poster, some pieces contain more detail than others—you can always hand out detailed pieces first & save the less complicated pieces for the early finishers.
• You could choose to keep the completed image a secret (only to be revealed once it’s assembled) or share the completed image before starting to help guide their colour choices.
• All sets include extra optional feathers to add in overlapping layers to your complete Kākahu for a 3D effect (a layer around the collar gives the perfect finishing touch)
• Add you class name, whānau group or school motto to the collar (or inside the cloak to further personalise)
• Make sure you display your finished piece at shoulder height so you can get snap of your children in front of your beautiful group project
